There aren’t many recording studios where we live but there are some special musicians, courtesy of a family friend Trev who is also a musician we had an amazing day in Rob Davies studios.
It was a mixed emotion kind of day as I was recording a special song for my dad’s friends memorial service, you can hear that below, press the play button.
It was an honour to do that song and when a video was added it was sad but a beautiful tribute.
We had the first song done and quite a of time left, we sang an original song for Rob and Trev and they said let’s do it.
They very quickly programmed some drums and within a few 
minutes Rob pictured on the right had put down a basic backing track with guitar and bass too.
These guys are super talented, look at our faces in the picture on the left when they played what they’d done for us for the first time.
To hear your own composition come to life like that really is a special experience, something that only existed in your mind made into a real thing.
My friend in the video is *Name here* and she and I wrote that song, so if it becomes a hit remember you heard it here first!
